Digital Recording training
Rainbow Lives held a 1 day Digital Recording training course at Fife Interpreting Centre Kirkcaldy on 8 .8.09 funded by Your Heritage.
The course was facilitated by Professor Arthur McIvor and Dr Angela Bartie from Strathclyde University, Scottish Oral History Centre with 11 participants from 5 different nationalities attending the session.
The morning programme covered amongst other things recording techniques tailored to suit both new participants and those looking for an update and troubleshooting session.
The afternoon programme was geared around transcribing and editing, more specifically looking at editing transcriptions for our Asian Connections booklet due for publication in September.| image 1 |
